END OF KEY STAGE 2 SATS SCORES

Raw Scores

The actual marks a pupil gains in their test is called their raw score.  This is converted to a scaled score (range from 80 to 120) so that a performance comparison can be made between pupils and schools.   This conversion is carried out by the Standards and Testing Agency (STA).

Scaled Scores

A scaled score of 100 or above represents the expected standard for each test.  If your child gets a scaled score of 100 or more it means they are working at or above the expected standard in the subject.  If your child gets a scaled score of less than 100 or an 'N' means that they may need more support to reach the expected standard.  The highest scaled score possible is 120, and the lowest is 80.

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year.  The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year.  It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
