Our Friends of Newbury Park (FoNPPS)
The Friends of Newbury Park Primary School (FoNPPS) are a parent and carer group that works in partnership with the school to support and enrich the experiences of all pupils. Guided by the school’s motto, Learning for life, achieving together, FoNPPS plays an important role in strengthening our school community.
FoNPPS organises a range of inclusive events and activities throughout the year, creating opportunities for families to come together, build connections, and enjoy shared experiences. Funds raised are used to support additional resources, opportunities, and experiences that enhance pupils’ learning and wellbeing across the school.
Being part of FoNPPS is about more than fundraising. It is about collaboration, community spirit, and a shared commitment to supporting children to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
Our Aims and Objectives FoNPPS aims to:
Support Newbury Park Primary School in providing a rich, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils

I'm so excited to connect with you here. Everything we do, from our big events to our small meet-ups, comes from a simple idea:
For the Kids, with the Kids.
Right now, we're all buzzing about one special mission: creating a playful, inviting library to ignite a love of reading in every child at Newbury Park. Imagine a cozy, fun space where books are adventures waiting to happen!
We can't build this without you. Whether you have an hour to spare, a brilliant idea, or just want to be part of something wonderful for our school, you belong here.

What’s happening?
FoNPPS organises events throughout the school year. Information is shared via letters in pupils’ book bags, posters around the school, the school’s dates and events page, and the Friends News page.
The Friends work closely with school staff to ensure that funds raised are used thoughtfully and purposefully, with a clear focus on making a positive difference for pupils and the wider school community.
Get involved
Everyone is welcome to be part of FoNPPS. There is no expectation to attend every meeting or help at every event. You can choose how you get involved, whether that is volunteering at an event, acting as a Class Representative, sharing ideas, or simply attending activities with your family.
Any time, ideas, or support you are able to offer helps strengthen our school community and supports our shared commitment to Learning for life, achieving together.
