At Newbury Park, we believe that writing is a powerful tool for expression and communication. Our writing curriculum is designed to inspire creativity while building essential skills in grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary. From the early stages in EYFS to the final years of primary, pupils are encouraged to explore different writing styles, including storytelling, poetry, reports, and persuasive texts. We focus on developing confidence, clarity, and imagination, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to find their voice and express themselves through writing. By embedding writing across the curriculum, we strive to make it an engaging and meaningful part of everyday learning.
